On Sunday, the Sheriff Department was assisting the Arkansas State Police in locating a driver on I-40 involving a road rage incident where the individual pointed a firearm at another vehicle.  The caller reported that he was traveling east bound on I-40 at the 225-mile marker when the driver of a black BMW with Texas license came up behind him and passed him and both drivers gave each other the finger and that's when the driver of the BMW then pulled a handgun and pointed it at the other driver.  A deputy located the suspect's vehicle on I-40 about the 239-mile marker when both the deputy and a trooper stopped the vehicle at the 247-mile marker that was driven by Michael Alexander 65-years-old of Lake Comal, Texas. Alexander admitted to that he did brandish the firearm to the other vehicle.  Authorities did recover a firearm from Alexander vehicle, and he was charged with Aggravated Assault a Class D Felony and placed in the county jail.  He is scheduled to be in St. Francis District Court today where a bond will be set.
