On Friday the Sheriff Department received a tip that Brenda Williams who was wanted on felony charges out of West Memphis was at 109 Davidson Ln. in Colt, AR.  Deputies went to the residence and made contact with Christopher Morgan 34-years-old of 109 Davidson Ln. Colt, AR where he attempted to run out the back door.  He was taken into custody on misdemeanor warrants out of Forrest City. Deputies located Williams in the residence and observed drug paraphernalia items in plain view.  Morgan gave investigators consent to search his residence and during the search investigators seized just over two ounces of Methamphetamine (Ice), Xanex tablets, a small amount of Marijuana, a small bag of Cocaine and a loaded handgun.  Morgan is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver a Class A Felony, Possession of a Controlled Substance a Class A Misdemeanor two counts.  Possession of Firearm by Certain Person a Class B Felony, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia a Class B Felony and Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms a Class Y Felony.  Morgan admitted to investigators that all the drugs found inside the residence was his and Williams was not charged. He is scheduled to be arraigned today in SFC District Court where a bond will be set.
