The St Francis County Sheriff’s Department will be giving court dates to anyone who has a misdemeanor warrant or Failure to Appear Warrant on Traffic Violations if the person voluntarily contacts the Sheriff’s Department during the month of July.

“We are hoping to clear out some warrants and give people a chance to address any legal issue related to misdemeanor warrants so they can deal with any problems and go on with their lives,” commented Captain Eddie Adamson.

“While we are updating all of our warrants and making them publicly available on our website Sheriff May felt it would be a good time to offer a chance for people to step forward and get things cleared up rather than risking going to jail,” Adamson added.

Anyone who has a misdemeanor warrant can contact the Sheriff’ Department at 870-633-2611 to get a court date.
