We were notified this morning by the Arkansas Dept of Health that we had our first confirmed case of Covid-19 in St Francis County in the Colt area.

Citizens are advised to remain calm and continue to follow CDC guidelines.

Stay at home as much as possible, practice safe social distancing, wash your hands regularly, and keep all surface areas clean.

Contact your doctor if you have any symptoms of the Corona Virus.

The St Francis County Courthouse continues to be open to the public. Citizens are asked to first call the courthouse and see if they can be served over the phone.

The St Francis County Corona Virus Task Force has been sharing information among each other, and the public, and taking appropriate actions to deal with the situation for all residents of the county.

Stay tuned to local media outlets for up to date local information. We expect an update from the governor this afternoon on statewide efforts to deal with the situation.
