Drugs falls out of woman's pocket while visiting the jail
A St. Francis County woman now faces felony drug charges after drugs were discovered falling out of pants pocket. On August 8, 2025, Criminal Investigation Division opened an investigation after a trustee at the jail notified jail staff of some contraband he found inside the visitation room. The contraband was turned over to investigators. The substance was determined to be marijuana that weighed just over 9-grams. Investigators were able to review the surveillance video of the visitation room the day before and was able to determine that a female identified as Kierra Washington 26 year-old of Madison, Arkansas came to the Detention Center and went into the visitation room and began having a phone conversation with an unknown inmate. As the phone call continued and unknowingly a plastic bag fell out of her pants pocket onto the floor. Washington then finished her phone conversation and walked outside and got into her vehicle and drove off. On August 18, 2025, Kierra Washington was arrested on a unrelated incident and placed in jail. Kierra Washington is currently charged with Furnishing, Possessing or Using Prohibited Article-Delivering a Prohibited Article a Class C Felony and will be arraigned today where a bond will be set in her case.
