FC Man Arrested for 2024 Shooting

On Thursday, November 6, 2025, St. Francis County Investigators took Kendrick Britt, 47-years-old of Forrest City into custody at his residence in Grobmyer Cr. without incident. Back in February 2024, deputies responded to a shooting outside of a residence on county road 215. The victim reported a tan colored suburban vehicle drove by his residence and fired several shots into his residence. An investigator responded and processed the crime scene where multiple shell casings were recovered. The victim reported that he had gotten into a argument with his girlfriend and Kendrick Britt was present at the residence in Forrest City and the victim left and returned home. A short time later that's when he noticed a tan suburban drive by his residence and fired several shots into his residence During the investigation investigators executed a search warrant at Kendrick Britt residence in Grobmyer Cr. There investigators recovered a 9mm handgun and ammunition from Britt's vehicle. Investigators submitted the spent shell casings along with the firearm to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for ballistic comparison. Investigators later received the ballistic comparison report back which showed the shell casings recovered from the scene matched the handgun from Britt's vehicle. Kendrick Britt is charged with Terroristic Act a Class B Felony and Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm from a Vehicle also a Class B Felony. Britt appeared before the judge today and his bond was set at $25,000.
