Man arrested for killing his wife
Jimmy Homes 39 years-old of Forrest City, AR. was arrested yesterday on 1st Degree Murder charges stemming from an incident that occurred on June 9, 2025. Deputies were dispatched to Forrest City Medical Center in reference to a female suffering from severe head trauma from falling out a moving vehicle. The victim was identified as Jasmine Spencer who was transferred to Regional One in Memphis, TN. Holmes was later interviewed and told investigators that he and Jasmine, his wife were driving down Meeks Road in Caldwell talking when Jasmine reportedly jumped out of the vehicle. Holmes reportedly stopped the vehicle and put her back in the truck and carried her to the hospital. Investigators searched the area where the incident reportedly occurred at and found no signs or evidence to support his account On June 12, 2025, the Criminal Investigation Division was notified that Jasmine Spencer had succumbed to her injuries. At that time investigators began investigating the death case and her body was sent to the Medical Examiner's Office in Little Rock, AR. for an autopsy to determine a Manner and Cause of Death. On August 18, 2025, investigators received the completed autopsy report and the Cause of Death was ruled by Multiple Blunt Force Trauma and the Manner of Death was ruled a Homicide. Jimmy Holmes appeared in court today and his bond was set at $500,000 dollars.
