Man Caught Breaking into Residence

On Friday evening at approximately 7:38pm a home owner who was out of town at the time was alerted through their home security system that someone had broken into her residence in Colt, Arkansas and they quickly notified the sheriff department.  They also reported that there were several firearms inside the residence.  An Arkansas Game & Fish Officer was the first to arrive on seen and observed an individual still inside the residence.  Deputies then arrived and entered the residence where they confronted an individual who had locked himself inside the bathroom.  The individual then busted through the bathroom sheetrock wall and he was taken into custody.  It was discovered that the individual had disconnected the water line from the commode flooding the bathroom and had pulled the wiring out of an outlet and was attempting electrocute anyone that came in.  It was further reported that the damage Neal caused to the residence was estimated to be over $58,000 dollars.  The individual is identified as 34-year-old Kyle Neal of New Mexico.  Neal is charged with Residential Burglary and Criminal Mischief 1st Degree both Class B Felonies.  Neal will be arraigned today where a bond will be set in his case.  The St. Francis County Sheriff Department would like to thank the Arkansas Game & Fish for their assistance in this case.
