Pair Arrested on Firearm Charges

On Friday investigators with the St. Francis County Sheriff Department executed a search warrant at 204 Evans Rd. in Caldwell, Arkansas. There officers seized a Taurus .22 caliber semi-automatic handgun along ammunition and drug paraphernalia.  The firearm seized was determined to have been stolen from a vehicle back in 2016.  Alexia Dove 26-years-old of Forrest City and Jimmy Holmes 39-years-old of Caldwell was both taken into custody without incident and booked into the St. Francis County Detention Center.  Both Dove and Homes is charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Certain Person a Class B Felony, Theft by Receiving (Firearm) a Class D Felony and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Class A misdemeanor.  Dove also had an outstanding Bench Warrant out of Circuit Court and Holmes had a misdemeanor warrant out of District Court.  Both who are on parole are scheduled to appear in court Monday where a bond will be set in their case.
