Chanc Glaze 19-year-old of Forrest City was taken into custody in Streetsboro, Ohio last week and was extradited back to Arkansas on Friday.  Glaze was wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred back on May 19, 2025, on county road 245 in Caldwell.  The Sheriff Department received a 911 call in reference to an individual who had been shot in the face while sitting in his vehicle.  The victim was transported to FC Medical Center and then air lifted to Regional One in Memphis.  Investigator arrived on the scene and interviewed several witnesses who reported seeing a gray GMC Arcadia leaving the scene right after the shooting.  Investigators recovered multiple shell casings in the road from the shooting .  Investigators also recovered surveillance video from the New Mount Sinai Missionary Church which captured the suspect vehicle, a gray Arcadia turning on county road 245 right behind the victim vehicle.  The Arcadia was then observed leaving off county road 245 less than a minute later.  Investigators learned that the victim who was still in the hospital told his mother that a person identified as "CG" was the person who shot him and at that point Chanc Glaze was identified as a possible suspect.  During the investigation investigators learned that Chanc Glaze mother had a silver GMC Arcadia registered to her.  Once the victim got out of the hospital he was interviewed and he identified Chanc Glaze as the person who shot him.  Chanc Glaze is charged with Terroristic Act a Class Y Felony and Battery 1st Degree a Class B Felony.  Glaze is scheduled to appear before a judge today where a bond will be set in his case.
