Sheriff Department Makes Arrest in Residential Burglary Case

Delfino Mora 22-years-old of Palestine, Arkansas was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped this morning by a St. Francis County Deputy and was taken into custody without incident.  Mora was wanted on Residential Burglary charges a Class B Felony and Theft of Property (Firearms) charges, also a Class B Felony and a Criminal Mischief charge, a Class A Misdemeanor.  Back in December 2025, the victim who lives in Palestine, Arkansas reported that while they were out of town someone broke into their residence and stole several firearms from a gun safe.  The victim reportedly suspected a person and she went to a residence where he had been staying.  At the time the person was not there but she spoke with the homeowner who reportedly told her that Delfino Mora brought a gun over there to keep.  The victim described the gun and he turned the gun over to her.  Investigators were able to identify Mora and two others who were involved in the burglary.  Arrest Warrants have been issued for their arrest as well.  Mora appeared before the judge today and his bond was set at $100,000 dollars.
