Forrest City Man Arrested on Protection Order Violation and Related Charges

On Tuesday, September 8, 2026, deputies with the St. Francis County Sheriff's Office took Trenton Turner, 35, of Forrest City, into custody without incident on charges of:

Violation of a Protection Order (Class D Felony)
Battery in the Third Degree (Class A Misdemeanor)
Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree (Class B Misdemeanor)
The charges stem from an incident that occurred on August 12, 2026. According to the investigation, Turner went to the residence of a former girlfriend and attempted to gain entry into the home by breaking a rear bedroom window. Prior to deputies arriving on scene, Turner fled the area on foot.

During the investigation, the victim reported a separate incident in which Turner allegedly physically assaulted her. Investigators were provided photographs documenting injuries reportedly sustained by the victim.

Authorities further determined that Turner was subject to an active Order of Protection that prohibited him from having any direct or indirect contact with the victim at the time of the incidents.

Court records indicate that Turner was previously convicted of violating the same Protection Order in October 2025 in St. Francis District Court, where he received a fine.

Turner was transported to the St. Francis County Detention Center and he is scheduled to appear before a judge today where a bond will be set in his case.
