Wynne Man Faces Drug Charges

On July 21, 2025, a St. Francis County Deputy reported that he observed two individuals walking into a local convenience store on the north end of town and after checking warrants on the both individuals. Dylan Grimes 32-years-old of Wynne came back wanted out of Wynne for a failure to Appear and a misdemeanor Theft charge.  The deputy reported that the individuals then came back out of the store and the deputy followed the vehicle until he could confirm the warrants were valid.  The deputy reported after receiving notification that the warrants on Grimes was valid the deputy conducted a traffic stop on county road 311.  Grimes was the taken into custody without incident and the deputy reported that Grimes was in possession of a small bag of a crystalline substance that later field tested positive for Methamphetamine with a weight of just over 8-grams.  The deputy also located a glass pipe for ingesting the narcotic. The passenger was not charged and released.  Dylan Grimes is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine, a Class C Felony and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class A Misdemeanor where he is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday where a bond will be set in his case.
