On July 3, 2023, the St. Francis County Sheriff Department executed a search warrant at the Senior Citizen Apartments located at 449 Old Military Road in Colt, Ar. after receiving several complaints of drugs that were being sold out of one of the apartments.  Inside the residence deputies recovered a small amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.  Robby Mitchell, 43-year-old of Colt, Ar. was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  He is scheduled to appear in District Court on Wednesday July 5, 2023.  Mitchell has an extensive criminal history which includes Battery 2nd Degree, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Forgery 1st Degree dating back to 1995 where in each of those cases he received Suspended Imposition of Sentence.  In 2022, Mitchell was last arrested in Cross County, Ar. where he pled guilty to Forgery 1st Degree and received a three-year Suspended Imposition of Sentence.  The Sheriff Department asks anyone if they suspect individuals selling drugs in their community to contact the St. Francis County Criminal Investigation Division and all calls will remain confidential.
