On Thursday, August 31, 2023, the St. Francis County Sheriff Department executed a search warrant at 712 Choctaw St. in Forrest City.  At the time of the search warrant an adult female and her three young children were inside the residence, along with 27-year-old Nauticia Gardner of Forrest City.  During the search deputies seized the drug fentanyl, scales and plastic baggies from inside the residence.  Gardner was also wanted on an outstanding Bench Warrant issued out of St. Francis County Circuit Court for a previous drug charge from back earlier this month, where he was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Cocaine, Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearm and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Gardner faces new drug charges which include Possession of a Controlled Substance-Fentanyl with Purpose to Deliver, a Class A Felony and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class B Felony.  The Sheriff Department would like to thank the Forrest City Police Department and the First Judicial Drug Task Force for their assistance in this matter and the investigation is still on-going.
