Horl Logan, 48-years-old of Earle, AR was arrested today for the beating of a co-worker with a hammer.  On August 8, 2023, an employee with the TA Truck Wash at Shell Lake just off I-40 reported that Logan attacked him with a hammer striking him several times and threatening to kill him at which time Logan then fled the business.  The Sheriff Department was notified but the victim had already called family members who took him to the Forrest City Medical Center, and he was treated for his injuries.  Logan is charged with Battery 2nd Degree and Terroristic Threatening both Class D Felonies.  Logan is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow where a bond will be set in this case.  Records show that on July 25, 2022, Logan was arrested in Crittenden County, AR for Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Class C Felony and Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearm, a Class Y Felony.  Those charges are still pending.
