On December 18, 2023, at 10:05am a St. Francis County Deputy assigned to the Interstate Interdiction stopped 2002 Saturn with Mississippi registration at mile marker 242, westbound, on Interstate 40 for Defective Equipment.  The driver Jenna Cain, W/F, dob:12-25-95, a resident of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and passengers Christopher Cain, W/M, dob:3-23-92 of Potosi, Missouri and Christianna Lee, W/F, dob; 5-28-92 of Tylertown, Mississippi.  Jenna Cain was wanted on an outstanding felony drug warrant out of Potosi, MO.  The other two occupants did not have a valid driver license.  An inventory search disclosed marijuana, scales and syringes with one syringe containing a substance identified as heroin in some clothing items and a backpack. The drugs and paraphernalia were seized.  Lee was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance Marijuana, a class A misdemeanor and Possession of Drug Parahernalia.  Christopher Cain was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Heroin a Class D Felony and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Both are scheduled to appear before a judge today.  Jenna Cain was arrested on the warrant out of Missouri and is awaiting extradition.
