On Friday, March 1, 2024, at approximately 4:50 PM the St. Francis County Sheriff Department received information from the Lawrenceburg, Kentucky authorities that a white 2023, GMC Yukon with a drive out tag of B829789 was stolen out of their city during the early morning hours, and they were tracking the vehicle by the vehicle OnStar system.  A deputy spotted the vehicle and stopped the vehicle at the west bound 239-mile marker.  The driver identified as 68-year-old Flenoin Crook III of Houston; Texas was taken into custody without incident. Crook is charged with Theft by Receiving a Class B Felony, and he is scheduled to be arraigned today in court.
