Two Men Are in Jail Facing Rape Charges

On Monday May 20,2024, the St. Francis County Sheriff Department began investigating a Rape allegation that was reported by a Forrest City woman that occurred in Madison, AR.  During the investigation investigators were able to identify both suspects which are brothers and the residence where the incident occurred at.  The victim reported that Courtney Austin an ex-boyfriend picked her up at a residence in Forrest City and drove her back to his residence in Madison.  There the victim was forced to have sex with both Austin and his brother Adrian Boyd and would not let her leave and was threatened with a handgun.  Arrest Warrants were issued for 42-year-old Courtney Austin and 40-year-old Adrain Boyd, both of Madison, Ar.  On Thursday the Sheriff Department executed a search warrant at 359 Bridge St. in Madison, AR.  Both men were taken into custody without incident.  Inside the residence investigators seized cocaine, drug paraphernalia, two pots where they were actively growing marijuana plants, one handgun and one long gun. Austin faces charges of Rape, Kidnapping, Possession of a Firearm by Certain Person due to him being a convicted felon.  Boyd faces charges of Rape. Both men face addition charges related to the search warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance - Cocaine, Possession Drug Paraphernalia, and Manufacturing a Schedule VI Controlled Substance.  Austin faces an addition charge of Possession of a Firearm by a Certain Person.  Both men will appear before a judge where a bond will be set in their case
